September 22-Inaugural Conference of the ISCE
On September 20, 2009, the ISCE was formally established after a longer period of preparation. Dr WJ Zhang chaired the inaugural conference. In the earlier time, the constitution, mission, and organizations of the ISCE were discussed by the ecologists from China, Brazil, Russia, India and European Union. They are further examined and improved by ecologists at this conference. Dr WJ Zhang was nominated and elected as the first president of the ISCE during this conferecne.
